Real materials, labeled on the packaging.
Every layer — base, middle, surface — is named in plain language. No hidden foam. No mystery coatings.
We make yoga mats for studios, teachers, and practitioners around the world who care about grip, honesty, and how a mat feels after five years of Surya Namaskar.
Yonwa began with a simple question — why do most yoga mats feel disposable after a single season? Our founders practiced for years on borrowed and rented mats, noticing how foam quickly lost its grip, how PU surfaces began to peel, and how a mat that once felt like home could start to feel like a burden.
Drawing on Foshan's deep manufacturing heritage and a personal commitment to safer, more sustainable materials, yonwa chose to make mats slowly: natural tree rubber from managed plantations, cork harvested without felling trees, and TPE blends free of PVC, latex allergens, and heavy-metal dyes.
"A yoga mat is the surface your practice stands on. It deserves to be crafted with the same care as the practice itself."
Today Yonwa supplies boutique studios, teacher trainings, hotels and wellness brands, and independent retailers in more than 30 countries — all from the same workshop floor where the first mat was poured.
These are the standards every Yonwa mat must meet — before it leaves the workshop, and after years of keeping you company.
Every layer — base, middle, surface — is named in plain language. No hidden foam. No mystery coatings.
Natural rubber and cork increase friction as your practice warms up. No chemical coatings needed.
Every mat is hand-cured, finished, and inspected in our Foshan workshop.
Every formulation is screened for SVHCs, heavy metals, and phthalates. Reports are available to studio buyers and importers on request.
Replaceable, repairable, recyclable. Yonwa mats are five-year companions, not one-season accessories.

A simple, deliberate process — designed to be repeatable, traceable, and honest at every step.
Rubber, cork, and TPE batches are sourced from certified suppliers and tested before entering the workshop.
Layers are bonded under controlled temperature and humidity, then left to rest so the cell structure stabilizes.
Every mat is laser-cut, edge-polished, and hand-checked for thickness, weight, and surface uniformity.
Rolled and shipped in recyclable, plastic-free packaging, with full tracking from the workshop floor to your studio door.
We don't believe in disposable practice. We believe a mat should age with you — the grip deepening, the edges rounding, the color settling — a surface that holds the memory of every breath you spend on it.
We work with yoga studios, hotel brands, trainers, and importers who want a calmer, more honest supply chain. Custom colorways, debossed logos, and private-label manufacturing are all in our wheelhouse.
